A quick little tip for applying BULLET PROOF CONCEALER!
A little time consuming (!!!!) but maybe for a night out or somewhere special?!
Concealer is a type of cosmetic product that is used to cover up blemishes, dark circles, and other imperfections on the skin. It is typically applied after foundation and before powder to create a smooth and even complexion. Concealers come in various forms, including liquid, cream, stick, and powder, and are available in different shades to match different skin tones. They are often used to hide acne, scars, redness, and under-eye circles, providing a more flawless appearance. Some concealers also have additional skincare benefits, such as moisturizing or anti-aging properties.
To use concealer effectively, follow these steps:
1. Choose the right shade: Select a concealer shade that matches your skin tone or is one shade lighter. This will help to effectively cover any blemishes or dark spots.
2. Prep your skin: Start with a clean and moisturized face. Apply your regular skincare routine, including a primer if desired, to create a smooth canvas for the concealer.
3. Apply foundation (optional): If you use foundation, apply it before concealer. This will help even out your skin tone and reduce the amount of concealer needed.
4. Dot or swipe: Using a small brush, your finger, or the applicator wand, apply small dots or swipes of concealer directly onto the areas you want to cover. Common areas include under-eye circles, blemishes, redness, or dark spots.
5. Blend it in: Gently blend the concealer into your skin using a brush, sponge, or your fingertips. Pat or dab the product instead of rubbing it to ensure a seamless finish. Blend the edges well to avoid any visible lines.
6. Set with powder: To make your concealer last longer and prevent creasing, set it with a translucent or setting powder. Use a fluffy brush to lightly dust the powder over the concealed areas.
7. Touch-ups: If needed, you can apply another layer of concealer or foundation to build coverage. However, be careful not to apply too much product, as it can look cakey or settle into fine lines.
Remember, practice makes perfect, so experiment with different techniques and products to find what works best for you.
xD imagine using this with the loreal infallible setting spray lol
i really, really want that brush! who knows what it is?
I’ve followed you since you’re first year on youtube and I have to say, I am THRILLED to have found you when I did. In a world filled with self proclaimed beauty gurus who can’t even legally drink over here un the US, reviewing make up products and techniques meant for those of us who have reached middle age (and no I don’t mean 30) you channel has become a bit of a safe haven for me as we age together. I can always count on you to give honest reviews and tips and tricks that work for all ages – but especially ours 😉
I do wish I had spent my teens and twenties less obsessed with flaws that only my eyes could see, the irony that now I go out with far less make up is not lost. But I think that probably has more to do with not having hours a day to myself to mess about and try out new things. I need to be able to get in, get it done and get out the door before anyone starts knocking – which is practically impossible.
I had a framed pinup girl in my bathroom proclaiming that “it’s better to be late than ugly,” but she went missing about a year ago and I susect my 11 year old helped her into the garbage lol.
How to use a concealer.
First of all, have all other ingredients like foundation, setting spray, makeup brushes, sunscreen etc…
